There seems to be a misunderstanding

My life was never tranquil.

Even in sleep, my body rested,
but my mind never did.

Messy days were safer than quiet ones.
Stillness is rarely a good sign.

For someone in my line of work-
You'd expect a brutal end.

Burned in hell, possibly.
If there's a god.

And yet when I died-
I woke up in an otome game.

A weird shift in genre.

Breathing again but,
In the body of another.

A butler.
A disposable pawn.

After the contract, I assumed it would be the usual routine: Blend in. Satisfy the contract. Complete the cycle.

But the pattern made a sudden shift.

"I know, you love me. No, you are obsessed with me!"

What is this even about...

Maybe it's time to retire.
