My life was never tranquil. Even in sleep, my body rested, but my mind never did. Messy days were safer than quiet ones. Stillness is rarely a good sign. For someone in my line of work- You'd expect a brutal end. Burned in hell, possibly. If there's a god. And yet when I died- I woke up in an otome game. A weird shift in genre. Breathing again but, In the body of another. A butler. A disposable pawn. After the contract, I assumed it would be the usual routine: Blend in. Satisfy the contract. Complete the cycle. But the pattern made a sudden shift. "I know, you love me. No, you are obsessed with me!" What is this even about... Maybe it's time to retire. __________________________________________ Cover Art Credit to: @duduvsky → i.e. me

Never in my life did I ever think I'd be reincarnated. As far as I'm aware, being able to reincarnate means being good in your previous life, and being given a chance to restart your life anew. Although I don't consider myself particularly good, I'm not bad either. I simply existed somewhere in between. Regardless, I never expected to wake up inside a fantasy novel! And not just any novel, but a "dark romance", as my sister would call it. The kind with an obsessive male lead willing to go to any lengths to protect his delicate, soft-spoken heroine. Even if it meant murder. I had read the story before, and yes, it was undeniably cliché. But now, I find myself trapped within said story, cast as the villain, destined to meet my end at the hands of the possessive, and dangerously unhinged male lead. I can't tell if this world despises me or if it's offering me a twisted kind of opportunity. But one thing is for certain: I have to survive. And I need to find a way out.
