It's Always About Power

Aelia Solaris was in love with the stars. It didn't matter that they were worlds apart, she wanted to be a part of the magic, at least, until the day the stars fell. They crashed to the ground, a thunderstorm raging all around the world. With the fall came darkness: so deep and absolute the entire world faded to black. Aelia wasn't scared though, she wanted to see the stars, and so she did. It was horrible and beautiful and everything she expected. She should've let it go. She never would've let it go, it was always about power.
