Mimosa and Lumiere share a conscience without their knowledge. The only time they know what the other is doing is during dreams, which makes them believe they have very lucid dreams. One day, after Lumiere has a spell cast on her, both consciences merge into Lumiere. They can speak to each other through their shared mind, and they switch their physical appearance day and night.
Lumiere lives in a world of adventurers, kingdoms, magic, and fantasy. Only problem: magic is seen as something terrifyingly powerful. Not everyone can wield it, and those who can oftenly are in positions of power. With all that, however, magic users are shunned and seen as nothing but trash. Lumiere couldn't use magic, but since she merged with Mimosa, she awakened to various magic abilities. However, Mimosa and Lumiere's bodies have different magical attributes, which means their spell repertoire is always limited.
