"How could a dare be this beautiful?
He wasn't supposed to look at me like that. With those warm, searching eyes, like I was something more than just a passing moment. He wasn't supposed to smile at me the way he does, like I was the reason for it. Like I was something worth holding onto.
This was a game, wasn't it? A harmless dare. Just a few months, just long enough to prove I could do it, just long enough to laugh about it later. But now, with every second that passes, with every lingering glance, every quiet moment we share... I don't know if I'm playing the game or if the game is playing me.
Because when he talks, I listen. When he smiles, I feel it. When he reaches for my hand, I don't want to pull away.
But is it right to love someone when it was never meant to be real?
Am I just fooling myself? Am I fooling him?
And when the time comes, when the dare is over, will I be able to leave?
Or will I already be his by then?"

Still so little, Evermore...'
