Thomas and the Gladers see a video, showing Thomas' origin story, about his mother, that he grew up in a slave community inside the Crank Palace, his dead brother... and his little sister.
After escaping WICKED, the Gladers come upon this slave community, where the Right Arm is also hidden at the time being. What will happen to not just the Immunes that escaped WICKED, but Thomas unlocking his past? And will one of Thomas' best friends, Newt, spark an interest to someone they unexpectedly meet along the way?
