PNEUMA AKATHARTON

The shadow cast in the light of one's soul is a weighty construct that lays heavy on the mind of the soul's owner. Sometimes you see the effects physically manifest in the body, sometimes you don't. Either way it festers, grows to maturity either like necrotizing rot which erodes a person's will and mind slowly, stealing away every exuberance in their life to the point of spiritual, mental, and a likely total physical death. Or a madness inducing poison, edging deeper and deeper to demented insanity, where the definition of human living loses all texture, solidity and meaning; Or a soothing venom that feeds off that very shadow locked within, giving it life until it becomes a thing of its own and dwells like a second darker soul in the body and mind.
