My story is a real life personal story 

Title: The Midwife: Pain and Resilience

In 2007, amid the blockade on Gaza, I embarked on a harrowing journey to reunite with my husband in Jordan. It was not merely a passage across borders but a test of endurance, faith, and resilience. Leaving behind my home, my loved ones, and the familiarity of a life built in the midst of struggle, I faced countless obstacles—uncertainty at every crossing, the weight of separation, and the fear of never seeing my homeland again.

This story captures the raw emotions of a midwife caught between two worlds: one of deep roots and painful farewells, and another of hope and reunion. Through it all, I held onto the belief that no matter how difficult the journey, resilience and faith would guide me forward.
