A little swan, trapped in the den of a beast. To save her sister, Athalia agreed to marry a stranger, never knowing she was walking straight into the arms of the devil himself. For three years, she endured his cruelty. He broke her, controlled her, and took everything she had. He left her scarred, not just in body but in soul. But then, as quickly as he claimed her, he let her go. Lazarus attention drifted to another woman. Bored of his plaything, he granted Athalia her freedom with a cruel condition. If he is tired of his new obsession, he would come back for her. She would be his prisoner again, locked away until her last breath. But if she remained hidden for six years, she would be free forever. For six years, Athalia hid in the countryside, believing she had escaped his grasp. But the devil does not let go so easily. Now, he has come for her again. And their twisted, tormented marriage is about to begin once more.

The gods are watching. The past is bleeding into the present. And Zeph is running out of time. Two months after surviving his so-called ascension, Zeph is still piecing himself together. The voices in his head-one of them belonging to a long-dead god-haven't quieted. His nightmares are growing more vivid. And Astaroth... Astaroth is hiding something. When an old enemy resurfaces with a devastating truth, Zeph and Astaroth are thrust into a battle they aren't ready for. Chronica has returned, stronger than before, and she's not alone. As divine power begins to stir once more, the line between who they were and who they are now starts to blur. Zeph was never meant to survive. Astaroth was never meant to remember. And when fate demands its due, they may have to destroy each other to break free. What does it mean to be divine?
