Alexis Dziena was only seventeen when her parents died in a car crash. She was dumped in a foster home with no where else to go. She had no relatives and her friends couldnt do much for her.After finding it unbearable, she runs out of her foster home and back to her house. She rummages through her parents stuff and finds an old photo of her long lost uncle. Thinking it impossible for her to find him but remembering her birthday wish to do something extreme, that no average teenage girl would do, she grabs her parents credit card , some cash, clothes and puts herself on the next  plane to New Zealand to find him and piece back her life.
