Taehyung and Seokjin have been caught in each other's orbit for as long as they can remember. Born just days apart, raised in houses so close they could knock on each other's bedroom windows, their lives have always run parallel. Same schools, same degree, same workplace, like two trains going down the same track, always side by side but never quite meeting.

But if you asked them, they'd say they were never friends. Rivals? Absolutely. Enemies? Maybe. From playground races to medical school exams, everything between them was a competition. Who got the better grades? Who performed the first solo surgery? Who had the respect of their mentors?

Now, at the hospital they're appointed as, their rivalry is infamous. Nurses place bets on who will win the next argument. Their colleagues exchange knowing glances when their arguments get a little too heated.
