Happy Cookie

Jake has always lived in the shadow of his brother, Mark-the perfect child who died as a baby but is still celebrated each year with grand ceremonies by their grieving parents. While Mark is remembered, Jake is left to hide his pain and loneliness behind a smile, often ignored and punished. But when he wakes up on his sixteenth birthday, something changes. Jake meets Henry, an imaginary friend who offers him an escape from his despair in the form of five special cookies. To get them, Jake must face the dark layers of his own psyche, confronting guilt, loneliness, anger, and despair. Each cookie is more difficult to find, each test more dangerous, as Jake ventures through haunting realms that reflect his fractured mind. But the closer he gets to the cookies, the deeper he falls into his own darkness.
