Emma, a freshman at NYU, as she navigates the complexities of starting a new life in New York City. A double major in marketing and psychology, Emma is determined to make the most of her college experience, balancing her rigorous studies with the excitement of city life. But when she unexpectedly runs into Jack, an old friend from high school, their reunion stirs up old feelings and questions about what could have been. As Emma reconnects with Jack, she is torn between the familiarity of their past friendship and her growing connection with Alex, her project partner, who seems to be stepping into her life in ways she hadn't anticipated.

Chasing Futures is a heartfelt exploration of the challenges of transitioning to adulthood, the complexity of relationships, and the delicate balance of chasing dreams while dealing with the uncertainty of love and self-discovery. Will Emma let the past dictate her future, or will she step forward into the life she's meant to create for herself?

The beginning of the story is a little slow, but it does pick up. This is my first story so please bear with me.
