A group of 11 friends want to celebrate New Year's Eve, so they decide to book a place to celebrate. It's pretty late to book someplace good, especially when New Year's Eve is right around the corner. To the group's surprise, one of them finds an old and remote lodge in the forest for a shockingly cheap price. The group is curious as to why such a beauty is at such a low price, so they do their research on the place, which leads them to an article about a mass homicide that happened exactly at that lodge, and exactly 1 hour before the New Year struck. What left them in that horrific state was never found. The only thing left at the crime scene was a strange symbol of sorts on their heads. The case was closed as the police believed the murderer escaped, or was one of them, hence why nobody rented out the place. Despite some of the group being weary, they still booked it, as they were desperate to have fun.
