The Scars of Childhood

Elizabeth, otherwise known as Lizzy, hardly knew what it was like to be loved. Every since her mother died, Lizzy's father only talked to her when he wanted his daughter to clean a room in the house or prepare a meal. Lizzy never fought back no matter how hard her father would hit her. Lizzy rarely left the house, so she didn't have any friends. That all changed the day the Baudelaire children come to stay. Lizzy felt comfortable around the Baudelaires and her scars began to heal. But some scars are reopened before they can fully heal. (I only own Lizzy)
