It all started with a job no one asked for.
Bartlett Evans, adventurer, did not wish to be involved with the world of politics, especially between two kingdoms currently at war with one another. All he wanted was to gather enough gold to retire early and lived his life through the war.
But when he saw a posting of a job with a rather hefty sum of rewards, he couldn't refuse, especially not when the job fell within his expertise: being that of a dragon slayer. It was a simple job: slay the dragon, get the princess. The catch? He would be rescuing the princess of an enemy kingdom: the Kingdom of Wyrith.
But Bartlett would soon realize that this job was not as it would seem. Nothing ever was. Except this time, he would not expect it. His involvement in this matter, even if he was reluctant, would prove to set him up to an unusual adventure, one that would be as important to him as it was to the princess he saved.
For nothing was as it seemed when dealing with the Secret of Wyrith.

Though everyone saw her as a weak helpless princess that needs to be protected, and hidden from the cruel world she desperately wants to see with her blue eyes. A witch shows up one late after noon and offers her magic mirror, that can show her the outside world from just looking into it. She only needs to imagine the place she wants to see and will be there. The princess though was being a jerk so the witch cursed the mirror. Making it so that the princess ever looked into it, she will become a fearsome dragon. "The princess will no longer be a princess and she will see the world she desperately wants to see.
