The Chosen One

This is an epic the musical oc story. It follows my oc Elita, who is a spartan royal guard. During the time when Penelope marries Odysseus. King Icarius, Penelope's father and king of Sparta chooses her to accompany his daughter and new husband to Ithaca. There her job is to protect the new queen of Ithaca. She swore an oath to her father to protect Penelope with her life. When Odysseus is drafted to go fight in the Trojan war, the king orders Elita to swear the same oath to him as she did with her father. Though he was unsure of how long he'd be away from his wife and newborn son, he wanted to ensure they would be in safe hands should anything bad arise. Elita agrees and for the 20 years Odysseus was gone and assumed dead. Elita stayed, protecting the queen. When the suitors arrived, she stayed protecting Penelope's chambers. She even gained scars by suitors who attempted to force their way into the bedroom. Elita is unsure if the old king is dead or alive. But she knows one thing, her job, the job she dedicated her life to, the job she was chosen to do. Protect. The. Queen.
