Imagine a world where civilisation is.....different. On planet Earth, 3 categories of life are bred and live in unknown harmony. The humans, the preys (a hybrid type being, part animal and man) and the predators (the same as preys, do not take the name out of context thanks)
Though man had its tribulations with the world and amoungst its bountiful variety of species, the same was imagined amoungst the hybrid kind
Yes, just like your earth. (Directed towards the reader lol) We preys and predators have our fair chair of modern life and industrialisation...maybe not that modern per say. we mostly do everything by hand and yet we get things done.
The Predators were some pretty nice folk though. They werent as horrifying and bloodthirsty as they are depicted to be....though not everyone liked the idea of preys and predators even being in the same vecinity as each other....

They plan on stopping this kind of transactions but it's already too late. People falling in love and mating with their hybrids causing it's population to increase. The scientist's payed their crime in jail and got their head slashed off their own body. Government approve that people can take care of hybrids but can be sentenced to being put in jail for a life time if known of abusing them. Everything sounds peaceful now aren't it? It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.
