Cassandra wakes in a cold, dank parking garage, her mind swirling with confusion and fear. Clutching a grimy stuffed cat, she discovers a battered notebook warning her of the dangers lurking in the void. With every eerie page, she unravels the basic rules for survival. Part of the key to escaping this nightmarish place lies in the bizarre plush cat she now holds dear.

But her peace is short-lived. Though Cassandra finds her way out, she is thrust back into the void, seemingly at random. Half the time she falls asleep, the terrifying sensation of falling grips her, and she awakens in a new, terrifying corner of the void. The cycle of escape and entrapment continues, each new place with unseen creatures and toxic particles.

Hunted by the void's inhabitants and poisoned by its toxic particles, Cassandra must repeatedly navigate this perilous world, seeking sanctuary in the unlikeliest of places. Over time, she becomes resigned to her fate. Having been growing up in the foster system, with no place she can truly call home, the void becomes a twisted semblance of familiarity.

This is my own original story, i have written and rewritten many of these chapters and the majority of the creatures here were created by my own imagination. Please ask before you use my ideas for anything- even if its a drawing based on this book. Currently i only write on this account on wattpad, if you see this book anywhere else please contact me and report it.

This is the official rewrite for this story, i wont post very often as i am a student and have a life away from my devices- please don't comment asking about the next upload.

Meet Adrianna Robertson the bad girl is what people call her, when she was younger her mom left her the day she was born with her controlling father. Adrianna parties and gets drunk and smokes all the time. One day she just can't stand staying with her dad for any longer and goes to her neighbor Daniel's house till her friend picks her up. She went back completely wasted and needed a place to stay for the night since her dad was on her ass about getting drunk so she stays with him. I hope you like the book, there is going to a mild amount of swearing and lots of drinking and smoking. Everything is made up beside the state they live in. He watched as her eyes skimmed over his dark eyes and black hair with barely a reaction. He felt his pride twinge a bit so he went further. Lifting his hands, he let the blood drip from them. Her eyes widened slightly and her chin rose. She looked at his hands then back at him. His dark eyes gleamed in a challenge. "You've not harmed me or mine, faery." She spoke out loud. "Blood does not scare me and neither do you. Keep your dog on its leash." Then she turned and calmly walked back inside. Intrigued now, he went to the window of the house and watched as she reassured her mother that the dog was gone "I'll see you tonight, reckless child." He promised softly. **** Marcus felt himself beginning to wake and struggled to stay in the dream. But it was no use. His eyes opened and he released the pillow his hand was gripping. It was the same one that she had laid her head on every night. His head went into the pillow heavily for a moment, breathing in her faint scent. He hated and treasured dreams like that with equal fervor. He rolled over on his back and stared at the ceiling. It had been decades since she'd been forced to break that promise. He lifted his hand and touched the ring that had been her last gift. It had been decades, but it was yesterday. ***I did not skimp on the steamy scenes so consider yourselves warned ok? There are also a few violent scenes that I'll try to remember to put a warning before so you'll have a heads up. Faintness started to threaten and she fought it back as long as she could to get her first glimpse of what she was becoming: she looked over to Adam to see a beautiful white tiger struggling on the floor in his place, the poor creature appearing dazed and unsteady, struggling to find its feet after the physical onslaught that had been thrust upon it. Sierra smiled to herself and let the darkness consume her, content with the knowledge that she'd just transformed into the same thing. "Well shit, that's different..." Adele remarked at length, effectively breaking the silence. --------------- A new job is usually a lot to deal with. This is meant for imagination only as we don't have a fully done back story for Rivet's behavior, and I don't own Rivet as a character, or the world(s) she shares. Those are owned by Insomniac Games.(if you need a writer IG, totally game for that.) Backround we know: unlike her dimensional counterpart: Ratchet, Rivet distrusts robots, and for that matter, most people due to the regime she lives in. That of Emperor Nefarious. Before Rift Apart, Rivet was already hailed a hero in her galaxy, despite never actually having won a fight against the Emperor. Her distrust is a huge and important part of her character we barely scratch in-game due to a good momentum of story with only sprinkles of who she is. Her canon outfit(non-armor) has a scarf to it, despite her living on acid swamp world like Sargasso. Some of this story is told from Rivet's POV, from the POV's of others, as well as just story narration. Things this story is meant to touch on: Rivet's early life before the Resistance. Rivet's reason for eventually joining the Resistance. Why Rivet wears a scarf (not really important, but details are nice..) Her distrust for robots. The loss of her arm. Why she simply refuses to give up. Meeting Pierre Keep in mind, minus her distrust of robots, and the loss of her arm, none of this is canon.
