this is a criminal minds fanfiction, aka my new hyperfixation :3
this fanfiction is based on a book called "The Butterfly Garden" by Dot Hutchinson. (with some twists/changes)
and I also added three of my own OC's.
the first chapter will have some information on my OC's and a bit more info about the upcoming chapters :P (I do recommend taking a moment to read that first chapter, in order to understand)
also I would recommend for you to read "The butterfly Garden" it's really good ^^ but if you don't want to read the entire book I suggest you listen to it on the YouTube channel: MissMangoButt. She just talks about what it was about (basically gives a summary on it) the video is called "A Gardener And His Butterflies".

Before we begin, I should say that this story is a little mix up of the storyline. I know some might not like it, but this is just what I thought would work best for their lives. You guys are the readers, and I would love some feedback from you amazing people. This is the first Aaron Hotchner x OC I have written, and this is going to be in a bit of a different style compared to what typically appears on my page, so I hope you guys enjoy it. It's not actually that different, but I changed my approach to writing, and I actually preferred it. This is an enemies to lovers with a fast and slow burn pace???????? I don't know how else to describe it (mainly because while writing this, I haven't finished it yet). Please be patient with me because I am kinda stupid and make mistakes (thanks, dyslexia), but hopefully you guys are as excited about this as I am (not tough, as I am more nerves than anything else). Alex just left Nigel with only leaving a message on a note, telling him he probably comes back - only if possible. Obviously this is a hit in the face for Nigel. The first few months are terrible, and it only gets worse as he gets no word from Alex. No sign of him that could possibly give him some strength to go on. After more months, he loses his hope, killing everyone around as if that would make anything better. Nigel gets locked up in an asylum, declared for mentally unstable: charged for many, many murders. And since he doesn't ages, they keep him for experiments. Since they are very religious in there, they believe it's the Devil his son. After eight years, somehow Nigel keeps seeing this blonde-reddish boy visiting him. He tells him stories, being all cheeky and forces him to wait. The doctors around are trying anything to get that boy out of Nigel his mind, and when they don't succeed, they decide to use electroshock therapy for that. As Nigel threats to lose Alex, the connection between the two fades a lot. Alex has barely enough strength to stay around, and gets forced to find a body before he disappears forever. Strangely enough a patient passes by during Nigel his therapy. A suspicious girl that always wants to know everything that's going around. Since she is the only weak person of them all in a near distance, Alex gets into her body - being forced to share it with another soul. As soon as Nigel realizes that the girl isn't just somebody, and they can't get away from each other, there's only one option left. But what will happen? Will Alex get his body back?
