Lightning McQueen and Sally Carrera take on their next adventure: Parenthood. But they soon realize that raising a racer takes more than just a full tank and a smooth start. The folks of Radiator Springs will discover that some roads have more twists and turns than they ever expected.
NOTE: This is an older fanfiction I originally posted on FFN. I'm currently revising the older chapters before reposting them here to share the story with a broader audience who may not have read it before. Feel free to continue reading on the other site, but keep in mind that the earlier chapters there aren't as well edited, and my writing skills have since improved.

Lightning McQueen and the gang have to work hard and find friendship and even love in the simple locals of Radiator Springs, changing its values during their stay in the small town, and becoming a true winner, and telling us that there's more to the race than just the finish line.Complete

On hold until I figure out how to approach Cars 2. Female reader as always! Doing this because I've always loved McQueen as a CHARACTER. NOT AS A CAR. Thats why I'm making him HUMAN. McQueen is a racer new to the racing scene, but his irresponsibility, cockiness, and huge ego makes it seem like he doesn't deserve the pleasure. (Y/N) has always wanted to be a racer but isn't allowed to be, and she truly deserves the honor. (Y/N) really doesn't like McQueen, but in the end he just might be the ticket to finally becoming a racer like she's always dreamed of. And who knows, maybe McQueen really isn't that bad.
