Sleeping Beauty with a few twists!
Scarlett Bochelle is just fine alone, thank you very much. She is perfectly satisfied with her work as a Zookeeper for large primates and her hobbies. She certainly doesn't need her friend setting her up on a date with a rockstar with public commitment phobia. Little does she know that her friend and her date are hiding secrets that will put her in grave danger even before their first date begins. She will have to choose between her relatively safe but lonely life, and a breathtaking love that will require a leap of faith.

I averted my eyes feeling heat in my cheeks and hoping that he could not feel it under his fingers. He made a frustrated noise then ducked down and pressed a kiss to the base of my jaw. The fingers previously on my cheek were now tilting my head back. "Scarlett Summer," he said into my ear, "sometimes you are the most infuriating person I have ever met." "I'm sorry." I whispered. "God, why are you apologizing? It is me who should be sorry for all of the unspeakable thoughts in my mind pertaining to you. You know I was not kidding when I said I was a dominating person. I know you've experienced it first-hand. I'm too rough with you I know that. You're just so, so breakable." He whispered the last part in my ear with so much behind it. "Sometimes I think I want to break you. Just shatter you into tiny pieces." His voice was shaky as he made his confession. "Do it then."
