5 parts Ongoing Assi Lara Ikihohto, a Finnish-Turkish woman, lives for anime, webtoons, and Korean dramas-until war shatters her peaceful, pop-culture-filled bubble.
As family and friends are lost, she discovers new alliances and learns to fight for her country-partially fueled by a strange mix of psychopathy and laziness that she's learned to call "strategic."

The other two men yelled almost in unison: "Drop it!"

Without waiting, the others ripped the backpack from him and threw it aside. He lunged for it, furious. "I'm not leaving that there!"
The woman cut him off, grabbing his arm. "Trust me. It's the best choice right now."
They bolted through the undergrowth, lungs burning. Behind them, their pursuers came to a halt, eyes fixing on the abandoned pack lying in the mud.
She smirked. "Now, stay right th-"

The blast ripped through the forest, the shockwave flinging them into the dirt. Leaves and fire rained down.
The man lifted his head, face pale with fury. "You made me carry explosives for hundreds of kilometres! Do you realise if that went off early, I'd be dead?"
She rolled onto her back, chest heaving, eyes glittering with amusement. "But it didn't."
