Drunk in Love

Theo had always been a lost cause-at least, that's what everyone said. His life revolved around alcohol, drowning in its false comfort and pushing away anyone who cared. He didn't think he needed saving. But then Alissa walked into his life.

She wasn't supposed to stay.

Her mother, a well-known doctor and practitioner, had given her a task: help Theo overcome his addiction and then leave. No attachments, no emotions-just a mission. Alissa was confident she could do it. She had seen her mother help countless patients, and this was just another challenge.

Their first meeting happened at the cheerleaders' spot behind the bleachers. Theo, slouched against the railing, reeking of whiskey, barely glanced at her.

"You shouldn't be here," he muttered.

Alissa crossed her arms. "Neither should you."

From that moment on, their lives intertwined.

At first, Theo resisted. He hated how Alissa questioned him, how she forced him to see the damage he had done to himself. But she was persistent. She challenged him in ways no one else dared. She showed him what he was missing-a life without the bottle, a life where he mattered.

Alissa thought she had control over the situation. She believed she could help Theo and walk away unaffected. But the more time they spent together, the more she saw beyond the broken boy with a drinking problem.
