Lena and Oliver have spent their lives trying to escape their dying hometown-a place where the roads loop endlessly, the streetlights flicker like dying stars, and the only diner never changes. The Maw, an unfathomable entity that does not chase but lingers, warping reality itself, has marked them. Each time they think they've escaped, they find themselves back where they started, the diner's neon glow flickering like a cruel joke. As betrayals mount and the bodies of those who tried before them resurface, Lena and Oliver are forced to face an impossible truth:
