The Flame (rewrite)

Fire. Both captivating and dangerous. It was something Anne had always been drawn to, feeling an inexplicable connection to it. Little did she know, her bond with the flames ran deeper than she could have ever imagined. She would discover just how deep when her father, Walter, made the decision to uproot their family from a quiet, rural town in the South Island of New Zealand and move them halfway across the world to Forks, Washington, USA.

Anne, along with her sister Sue, weren't exactly thrilled about the move. The small town they'd grown up in was all they had ever known. However, their mother, Julia, was overjoyed by the prospect of starting a new adventure. For Anne, though, change was her greatest enemy. Even the slightest deviation from her routine could ruin her entire day. So, understandably, the move felt like a personal affront to her very existence.

But maybe, just maybe, her perspective would change after she encounters two certain wolves. Wolves who would alter her life in ways she could never have anticipated. But not all changes are for the better.

This is Anne's story-of her life and, possibly, her death.

Yes, this is a polyamory fanfic. If that concept isn't for you, please feel free to skip this story. I know there aren't many fanfics featuring both Quil and Embry, and I wanted to write one because I absolutely love these two characters. This fanfic is set during Twilight: Eclipse. Expect a bit of Spanish and Afrikaans throughout, as Julia (Anne's mother) is Colombian and Walter (her father) is South African. But don't worry, it's primarily written in English. Again, if that's not your thing, you're welcome to look elsewhere.
