Taken at birth to save his life, Pine has only known the Forest, a place beyond the known world. The Forest is all he knows. Trained by his mentor, Pine has only had one goal in life, to become an EverGuard Knight, defender of the Forest. As his 17th birthday nears, it is time for him to return to the world he was born in and make a choice: Be with the family he lost or return to the family that raised him.
When Pine is taken to his actual family, he meets his workaholic father, an overprotective mother, and his siblings, including his twin brother. Can he learn to blend in with these strangers who share his blood? Or will they learn the truth about him.
