Cassidy Reece was your average high-school student at Split-River High School. She had good grades and was friendly enough with her peers. Her best friend, brother, and boyfriend were almost always by her side. That is until her body was found behind a dive bar after being murdered by her boyfriend. Despite the location of her body, her spirit remains at Split-River high along with other spirits that appeared to have died on school premises. As she is struggling to adjust to her new afterlife, she meets another lost soul, Wally Clark. Will these two help each other find the comfort and closure they need? or will they be lost together?
