NOT AN ACTUAL NETFLIX SERIES! This is the version where the chapters are over 10k words to make it seem like it's a Netflix season. If it's too long, read the other one. Hwang In-ho is an ex-police officer who was fired a year ago. He struggles to make money to help his pregnant wife, who suffers from acute liver cirrhosis. He joins the 28th Squid Game as Player 132. He is forced to play childhood games, but the cost is way worse than on the playground. In-Ho soon realizes that he has no place to escape unless he wins. He forms friendships and enemies, he works with his team to stay alive. But what will happen when he no longer has that crew? Read Player 132 to find out. (I do not own Squid Game, this is fan fiction. Also, the actors are just for fun I do not know any of them)

In 2015, Hwang In-ho entered the games not for greed, but for love. With a sick, pregnant wife clinging to life and hospital bills mounting beyond hope, In-ho sees the mysterious game as his last desperate chance. But as he steps into the brutal arena where 456 players compete for billions, he quickly learns that survival demands more than strength - it demands sacrifice. Among the chaos, In-ho finds unlikely allies - like a firefighter haunted by his mistake, a teenage girl too lost for her own good, as well as a K-pop artist hoping to prove herself. Together, they navigate deadly childhood games turned into instruments of terror. Trust becomes currency. Loyalty becomes risk. But with each round, the question looms larger: Can In-ho truly protect those he calls friends - or will survival demand he betray them? As the games grow bloodier and the line between right and wrong blurs, In-ho must face the cost of living... and what he's willing to become to escape.
