In Tokyo, where neon lights flickered endlessly and the city never truly slept, a girl stood alone in the rain.

Sakura's suitcase was soaked, her clothes clinging to her skin as she stared at the house she once called home. The door had slammed shut behind her, the echoes of her mother's voice still ringing in her ears.

"You've ruined enough things already, Sakura. Just leave."

She clenched her fists, biting her lip so hard it almost bled. Her sister's wedding had been called off that morning, and as always, the blame had fallen on her. She was unlucky, they said. A walking curse.

With nowhere to go, no one to call, she wandered aimlessly until her feet ached. It was hours later, sitting outside a small convenience store, that she met him.

A boy with tired eyes and a bag of instant ramen in his hands.

And that was where everything changed.

Tragedy struck on a frigid December night in 2005, shattering the peace in our quiet, upscale neighborhood of Hannam-dong, Seoul. The victims were my parents: a British navy officer and his Filipino wife. The brutal home invasion left my twin sister and me orphaned and separated by fate. I was cruelly abducted by the robbers and sold into the sinister depths of a black market linked to an international orphanage. My sister, miraculously spared, was discovered by the police tucked safely under a bed, blissfully asleep and unaware of the horror that had unfolded. Eighteen years later, half a world away, I lived a life of privilege and comfort in the posh surroundings of New York City. Adopted by the billionaire Pages, James and Claire, I had everything a girl could wish for. Or so I thought. My world was rocked when I stumbled upon an online article with a photo of a girl who looked exactly like me-a girl who wasn't me. The article detailed the tragic story of a top student from a prestigious international school in Seoul, South Korea, who had been found beaten and left for dead. My heart raced as I showed the article to my parents. James and Claire, always loving and supportive, were visibly shaken by the uncanny resemblance. It was time to spill the secret they had guarded so closely-I was adopted. As I absorbed this earth-shattering news, I felt a deep, inexplicable connection to the girl in the article. Was it possible that this comatose girl was my long-lost twin sister? Determined to uncover the truth, I decided to travel to Seoul. My journey would take me into the heart of my past, into the whispers of my origins, and into the tangled fate of two sisters whose paths were meant to cross once again.

The train station was relatively quiet, save for the occasional chime announcing an approaching train and the soft murmurs of people waiting on the platform. Tsukishima Kei adjusted the earmuffs around his ears, his breath visible in the cold winter air. He sat on the bench, peeling open the wrapper of his snack with little thought, his golden eyes half-lidded in boredom. This was just another ordinary evening-nothing special. That was until he saw her. A female student rushed past him, her dark raven hair swaying behind her like silk caught in the wind. The dim station lights reflected in her eyes, making them gleam as she hurried along. The soft fabric of her scarf fluttered as she moved, her posture tense, as if she were trying to catch something-or perhaps avoid something. For just a second, everything else seemed to slow. The noise of the station, the cold biting at his fingertips, even the warmth of the snack in his hand-it all faded into the background. Tsukishima didn't believe in that ridiculous "slow-motion" effect people always talked about. That kind of thing only happened in movies, right? But now, as his sharp gaze followed her, he couldn't deny that it felt real. Clicking his tongue softly, he averted his eyes, annoyed at himself for even thinking about it. "Tch. How stupid," he muttered under his breath. He took a bite of his snack, pretending as if nothing had happened. But somehow, his fingers gripped the wrapper a little tighter, and he found himself unconsciously glancing back in her direction. Just who was she?

Aimlessly, Donna was plodding sluggishly. The clock had hit the 4 am. She was in the search of peace and was wandering on countryside to find serenity. She wanted her mind to stay tranquil rather than filled by chaos. It was still dark. Moon was glinting. Everyone was in deep slumber but she was restless and plodding. It was the end of spring in Italy. She was at the EUR district. She looked at the beauty of that place. The trees of cherry blossoms bloomed already. But some splendid beauty of those blossoms still alive. She stirred and moved forward. A single blossom bloomed and landed on her cheek. She thumped it and looked. It was like blossoms wanted to say, "stay happy and enjoy the beauty of this world. Don't let anyone to invade your tranquil life. Let the thing dropped on their own." Again, a blossom landed on her nose. The blossoming started. She curved her lips into a smile. "Daughter, always remember that these cherry blossoms are the flower of birth, so delicate and fragile like a human existence. It cherishes and blooms the world and then disappears leaving behind their rare splendour beauty." She was reminding her mother's word when she was five, which made a gush of blood flow into her veins. --------------------------------------------------------- Date- 6 July, 2020, from today, I am going to edit my this book again as it is not upto mark for me and I want to do justice with my book!! "Michael!" was the last thing I heard before gunshots echoed down the street. I heard mama scream before the clicking of her heels hitting the asphalt. I stood frozen as I took in the events that just took place. I was zoned out as everyone ran around in panic. I snapped out of my trance when flashing lights pulled up to the scene. There she was on the ground holding his lifeless body in the street. My face appeared calm and expressionless but my mind was racing with thoughts. That bullet should've been in me... it was meant for me... Jun was an older brother of 3 now its just him and his sister Jalani.
