Laïa, a 16-year-old teenager, returns to her hometown, Phoenix, after several years' absence.
This return fills her with apprehension.
Despite her joy, a fear is part of her because of the man who was once her tormentor, Aaron.

He left an indelible mark by shattering a part of her being, and is a source of intense pain and hatred for her.
Every day, Laïa lives in constant fear of meeting his gaze and having to confront the painful memories of her past.

But he, unable to show his feelings since his trauma, prefers to make life hell for anyone unfortunate enough to cross his path.
