My interpretation of Jiara throughout the earlier years (pre season 1). It may lead into the actual plot of the show, but is heavily concentrated on Kiara's kook year.  Lots of focus on the friendship between Kiara and Sarah and how that unfolds. Lots of pogue fun. Slow burn with fluff and angst. There will likely be some eventual smut between JJ and Kie. Includes strong language, drug use and mentions of abuse and self harm. Mostly canon, but the plot lines are altered to my liking. It will be regularly updated hopefully at least once a week. I haven't watched Love Island even once. Not even remotely sure what goes into it so this is not based on that at all lol. A request from an anonymous reader on Tumblr. Actually two reader requests for Friends with benefits, one being just a little more specific on the scene being set in Poguelandia. Set at the end of season 2, the Pogues are on Poguelandia and all they have are each other. JJ and Kiara clearly have feelings for one another, but let's be real. Feelings are hard. What better way to completely not go about any normal way of dealing with them than to start up a friends with benefits scenario where they can find comfort in each other and forget they're on an unknown island while also trying to secretly navigate the growing feelings they have for each other but refuse to say aloud.
