I like to think of myself as a patient person. I can tolerate a lot- annoying classmates, my mom's endless lectures, even the chaos that comes with having an older brother. But him? Aaryan Rajput is where my patience ends. It's where I draw the damn line.

It's like he wakes up every morning and thinks, Hmm, how can I ruin Sirisha's day today? And somehow, he always succeeds. He's everywhere. At my house, in my way, in my head-ugh. It's infuriating. He flashes that stupid grin, says something smug, and suddenly, I'm ready to throw a dictionary at his head.

But the worst part? No one else seems to see the problem. My parents adore him. My brother basically considers him family. My friends think he's charming.

Me? I think he's the most irritating person on the planet.

I'd like to say she hates me, but I know better. She tolerates me- barely -but I'll take what I can get. It's funny, really. She walks around like she's unaffected, like I'm nothing more than an inconvenience. But I see the way her eyes flick to me when she thinks I'm not looking. I know she listens when I talk, even when she rolls her eyes.

She thinks I wake up every morning just to drive her insane. Maybe I do. But only because it's the closest I can get to making her think about me.
