Eight had said things would get easier outside on their own, no longer constricted by the rules within the white walls and rainbow room.
She always said she was there to protect her brother, the younger, more shy version of her. And yet here she was, running while he slept, safe and sound behind those white walls.
Eight took on the name Kali, and she took on the name Kim. The two were inseparable, until they weren't. Eleven came along, and everything was turned in on itself. Murder wasn't something they had to do, and Kim had options outside of what Kali offered.
And so, she turned her back on another sibling and ran.
