Odette barely escapes, forced onto the frozen surface she's only heard horror stories about. The cold is brutal. The ruins are haunted by creatures that should not exist. And the few survivors left will do anything to stay alive but so will she.

Then, raising his other hand, he cupped her cheeks fully. His eyes began to trace every inch of her face; her eyes, her cheeks, her nose, before his gaze dropped to her lips.
