Here, in District 2, no one gets reaped for the annual Hunger Games by chance. Every year, a couple of teenagers sign up on their own. Usually to prove something or make the family proud. Well, sometimes the reason is fun, the desire to test yourself. For me, it wasn't either of those options. I volunteered because my parents forced me to. My name is Clove and I'm 15 years old.
