Jake Sim has always been the bright one-the boy with the easy smile, the one who never lets anything bring him down. Ever since middle school, he's had Heeseung by his side, and in high school, their friend group grew-Jungwon, Jay, Sunoo, Ni-Ki, and Sunghoon. They were inseparable. Or at least, they thought they were.

But something changed.

Jake started pulling away. His usual warmth faded, replaced by distant smiles and tired eyes. He barely spoke to anyone except Jay, and even then, something wasn't right. Nobody knew why. Nobody knew what was happening behind closed doors-why bruises appeared on his skin, why his laughter felt forced, why he came to school looking more exhausted each day.

Something was wrong.

And whatever it was... it was bad.

As his friends struggle to figure out the truth, Jake is running out of time. Because some pain doesn't just fade away-some pain leaves scars, ones that no one else can see.
