Leia and her sisters thought that moving to Ninjago city would be a fresh start. A calm after the storm.
Falling for Lloyd Garmadon was never a part of the plan.
He's the son of Ninjago's most feared villain, hated by the city, haunted by his legacy and yet, Leia can't help how drawn she is to him.
As if her heart hadn't made things complicated enough, that very same pull intertwines her with the life of none other than the green ninja. He's everything that Lloyd isn't; Loved, celebrated, trusted. Though... something about him feels achingly familiar.
All while trying to make sense of her feelings, Leia starts to uncover secrets about her family and her own legacy. She wasn't a girl fit for prophecies, but she quickly has to realise that it's not her choice to make.
She can try to live as normally as possible, but the burden of carrying her secrets on her shoulders is bound to make her slip.
