This story is a remake of the original 1986 Walt Disney Animation Studios film along with some elements from the original books by Eve Titus and its continuation by Cathy Hapka.
Olivia Flaversham is a little mouse who is just about to celebrate her birthday when her father is suddenly kidnapped. Now, she must ask for help from the great mouse detective, Basil of Baker Street, the Sherlock Holmes of the mouse world.
What seemed like a simple disappearance investigation turns into a life-or-death mission as the queen of the mouse world is in danger thanks to the evil Professor Padraic Ratigan, Basil's arch-enemy.
