Evelyn Walsh is a 21-year-old who lives in Chicago, Illinois. She comes from a rich family, but her mother and father are too invested in their business deals to worry about her. She started an online relationship via video games with cocky, flirty 22-year-old Holden Sinclair who lives in London, England. Evelyn decides to make the move to London and surprise Holden, but when she arrives he isn't exactly ecstatic about her being there. Evelyn comes to realize that Holden's lifestyle is vastly different from what he told her. He parties too much, hangs with the wrong crowds and lets not forget his trail of women he's hooked up with. Evelyn did say she liked Holden for being so different from the people she was used to in her old life, but can she learn to accept the real Holden Sinclair? Or will he change for her instead?

Evelyn is okay. She's at the top of her class, a Wattpad writer, and a rising star on YouTube. She's also a liar. Her parents fight all the time, but she tells her friends everything is fine. She lies to herself about the guy at school. On the night her life changed forever, she told herself what was probably her biggest lie ever: I'm okay. The truth is, she's not. Things are falling apart and beginning to come out. She's barely keeping it together. Can she make it through when her lies begin to catch up to her? --- Warning: This story contains mentions of sexual harassment which, though not graphic, could potentially be triggering to some who have experienced similar or worse situations.
