Aizawa Shouta, better known as Eraserhead, encounters a small vigilante known only as The Whisper-a 10-year-old quirkless boy who operates in the shadows of Musutafu. Despite having no Quirk, the child is swift, resourceful, and eerily silent, earning his name for the way criminals fall before they even realize he's there. Aizawa quickly realizes the boy is not just skilled but also desperately alone.
Determined to help him, Aizawa starts tracking The Whisper, discovering that he is, in fact, a quirkless orphan named Izuku who has no place to go. When Hizashi Yamada-Aizawa's husband-learns about the boy, he immediately starts sending extra bento boxes with Aizawa on patrol, hoping to lure the child into trusting them.
The story follows Aizawa's struggle to break through Izuku's walls, Hizashi's gentle and persistent attempts to make him feel safe, and Izuku's slow journey from a lonely vigilante to a loved and cared-for son.
