Ranen inherited everything-his father's house, money, and cars-but none of it mattered. At 21, he was truly alone for the first time, overwhelmed by the silence after his father's death, and struggling with the nightmares of his disorder he'd given up.

Then, out of the blue, his mother called, offering him a chance to stay with her for a few months to grieve. After wrestling with his feelings, he decided to give her a second chance.

But his visit came with a new complication: his mom's fiancé. A man who instead of taking a fatherly approach, took a friend approach... but sometimes feelings get mixed up and what sounds like a nightmare becomes a dream.

Jason Williams didn't think going out to dinner with his family was going to be any different than usual. Comments about his sexuality, some teasing from his brothers, and lots of paparazzi. You know, nothing strange at all. But a fight with his father made Jason storm out of the restaurant, down an alleyway, and suddenly his life isn't the usual anymore. He woke up in an unfamiliar dark room, and a handsome boy opened his door to explain. The snowy-haired genius was holding him captive until he got what he wanted. Life couldn't be worse. Warning: This book contains mental issues such as depression, schizophrenia, and others. If you're sensitive to that kind of thing, then you should probably think twice before reading this. Of course, if you want to read it and you're sensitive, I'm not stopping you. This book only touches upon the subjects; It doesn't go deep into suicide attempts and voices. Remember despite the hate these mental illnesses receive, I believe you. Mental illnesses are no joke, they're not something I try to use for views. I am not hating on the illnesses. I know it's hard, but they are relevant to the book so I had to include them. If you're feeling depressed, please talk to a counsellor. Or, if you're too scared for that, I'll happily listen and give you advice. Thank you! (I needed to include this because I didn't want people thinking I thought the mental illnesses were stupid. I don't, I promise. I love you, and I need you to keep fighting!)

Finding Life Again

40 parts Complete Mature

Raised by cold parents who never offered him a glimpse of affection, Kai dedicated his life to earning the love he never received at home. Successful in his studies and devoted to his passions, he found a romance that ultimately shattered him, coupled with the harsh realization that he had failed and that his parents would never acknowledge him. A year after his graduation, Kai felt lost and unsure of how to chart his path forward. Clinging to the one person who had never left his side, he resolved to confront the traumas that haunted him. He never anticipated that the person who would help him the most would be someone he had met right at the beginning of his journey. SMALL EXCLAIMER/ The story doesn't visually describe sexual scenes. There are just a few makeout scenes. The first few chapters are describing a person who is slightly depressed and some light anxiety behaviour situations. It is not a heavy book. The characters are not abusive. The relationships are healthy, and I hope my book is as positive and easy to read as I wanted it to be. However, for some people can be triggering as there are mentions of anxiety and social awkwardness.
