Tommy's life is a mess. His dad's a drunk, his mom is who knows where, his head's full of crap he can't make sense of, and he's been spiraling lately. After another huge fight with his dad, he ends up drunk and barely holding it together, thinking about doing something he'll regret.
Tommy's got one good friend tho-
Danny.
Even though they didn't seem to talk much anymore, Tommy was always thinking about him.
For once, Tommy actually feels like someone *gets* him. Danny's also out trying to escape his own problems, But shit gets.. weird after something happens...
And when school started back up, shit got weirder.
Between locker room inccdents, and fining Danny on the street, Tommy's kinda got feelings for Danny, but he's too confused to admit it.

Our story
The new boy in town doesn't have a lot of friends, or people to talk to. But then he runs into a woman with a great job and is the CEO of her own company, he tries to get a little half-time job with it. Meanwhile the woman has a daughter. And she is known as the troublemaker and toughest girl in highschool. They meet ways by her mom, and after that, a whole lot of events happen, and similar situations they get into, but in the end, they'll always end up meeting ways. This is honestly just a random book I made The story also took place in the 1980's so there's a lot of old stuff in the book 👍 But here are the warnings! !Vulgar words! ! Dramatic scenes! ! After George accidentally outs himself in front of the popular and homophobic guys of the school everything seems fine at first. However, that soon changes when he receives weird and hurtful messages online, this soon escalates from just one message to something much more serious. Meanwhile, Clay is closeted yet he has known he likes boys for a while now after falling for George. However, he can never seem to find the time to talk to anyone about this as he has to constantly help his sick mum and sister. With the cyber bullying all becoming too much, George becomes extremely overwhelmed, while Clay finds himself taking more and more medication to calm himself every day. This soon escalated from a small issue into something unimaginably worse. This story has stupidity, student suffering, and suppressed emotions. It follows Lachlan Mills, a 17 year old boy, as he struggles with his last year of high school, expectations, sports (mainly AFL), friendships, feelings, and a whole lot of idiocy. This is set in Australia so I'll defo put glossaries at the end of each chapter in case you don't know what something means. There's a lot of bad language in this, it's pretty realistic for Aussie high schools though so sorry in advance. There are some serious themes like mental health, but a solid amount of humour too. Also this is technically bl, it'll take a while to get there tho but trust. (I will edit this when i figure out the extent of everything this story covers.) Also i migth change this to mature age rating later. Clay has autism and finds comfort in simple things, the illuminated a fireplace on a winter's night, fish swimming and stuffed animals. However, this was all soon to change after a tragic accident. Clay finds himself alone, seeing his happiness slip away from one simple mistake. George doesn't have an easy home life, after noticing signs of possibly a muscle disease, his only wish is to get help for it, however his parents deny every word that is brought up about it. Yet, it gets worse by the day as George quickly looses any hope left. When Clay is left traumatised by his past, he thinks nothing will bring back the same happiness he once felt, but when George moves into the farm he often visits, that same joy that was extinguished with the fire, sparks again...
