Hayden Aziel King's life turned upside down when his parents died in a car crash. It was said that the driver, his father, was drunk and high out of his mind. He did not know how to react and at the age of eighteen years old, Hayden was expected to take over the King Enterprises mantle and continue with school.

It was an uphill battle when the funeral finally came and went. Crying in front of a crowd was not acceptable and not to be shown, something his father ingrained in his mind. A lesson well learned after he cried in front of a big crowd because he was overwhelmed by the paparazzi.

Many journalists wrote that the King was heartless to not cry at his parents' funeral. Numerous pictures were taken of him that day, some were shared across the internet with speculation about the reason no tears were seen. Not like that mattered. Not in the end.

This short story is heavily inspired by the MCU, specifially the Avengers timeline/chronological order.
