Mature
Julian Reed is a baker who hides his feelings behind flour-dusted hands and carefully crafted pastries. Every morning, he watches Elias March take his usual seat by the window, black coffee in hand, lost in a world of unwritten words. He never speaks more than necessary. Never lingers longer than his drink allows. And never notices the way Julian's gaze always finds him.

Encouraged (or rather, relentlessly bullied) by his best friend, Julian decides to do something reckless-write anonymous letters to Elias.

He doesn't expect anything to come of it. Elias is a writer, after all. A man who lives in stories, not in fleeting bakery glances.

But when Elias finds the first letter waiting at his doorstep, something shifts.

A quiet mystery.
A lingering thought.
A story waiting to be told.

Because sometimes, love begins long before the first word is spoken.
