Han pasado siglos desde que la existencia de los monstruos y Yokais pasaron a ser un mito entre los humanos. Ahora son un recuerdo de lo que alguna vez fueron en vida...

Camelia Akiyama, una joven chica proveniente de una familia de sacerdotes  que no creía en los yokais. Sintiéndose insegura sobre su rol dentro de su familia, su curiosidad la llevará a encontrarse con unas esferas de jade. Cuando nada podía salir mal, por accidente libera a dos seres que formarán parte de su vida cambiando la por completo...entre ellos Garzo, un oni que junto a Gruñon habían sido sellados por razones desconocidas.

Este encuentro hará que algo comience a surgir mientras aprenden a regañadientes a convivir entre sí y evitar que no sean descubiertos por de cualquier forma, mientras ambos lidian con el mundo espiritual. Experiencias, sentimientos, recuerdos, secretos y misterios que los envuelven se irán desenredando con el tiempo.
