Stuck in a life that is contained within four walls, while she fights her battle with an eating disorder and depression, trying to gain control of the demanding voice in her head. Finally having to admit that she can't do it herself and faces vulnerability by doing so. She endures love and heartbreak but only she can save herself. They had control, had, past tense. Now they wish they did. Their bodies are screaming for help but their head is saying otherwise. Hunger coursed through Jules's body, the rumble of her stomach was like a thunderstorm, violent and painful. It scared her, yet it also satisfied her. She started to skip breakfast, and once she realised she didn't need breakfast, she knew she wouldn't need lunch nor dinner. ~TW: Goes into depth about eating disorders, mentions about suicide and self harm. Life as a child was amazing. Your weight didn't matter. Your clothes didn't matter. Your parents money didn't matter. All that mattered was who you were going to play with, but that's all gone now. My sister hates me, my mom has no time for me, and my dad, well he left me. My life has been one whirlwind after another. Except I'm content with it, till it all comes crashing down. Every television, billboard, and magazine is covered with models. Models that are supposed to be role models, for us. Perfect face, perfect body, perfect life. I have none of those things. All my life I've never cared that I was over weight, and didn't wear makeup. Who knew a boy could change all of that? That's when I decided to starve myself, force myself to look like the girls in the magazines. Who knew all I was doing was slowly killing myself? Everything gets hectic and Abigail doesn't know what to do with her life anymore. Or if she even wants to live.

Bonnie and her seven brothers lives changed forever, after the sudden and tragic death of Bonnies' parents, eight years ago. They had to find a way to survive and make ends meet, staying with their uncle and cousins until her oldest brother, Alexander could become their legal guardian. Bonnie has never really 'loved' herself. When she was younger, she would always pick out something about her she didn't like. Whether it was a bruise on her arm, or her slightly disheveled hair, she would be upset and unhappy with her appearance. She has always craved to be liked, loved and accepted. She's now 14 and is starting her first year as a freshman at high school. Though high school isn't going to be easy like it was for her popular, loud brothers. Jealousy. Heartbreak. Bullies.
