At the age of 15, Jack Smith ran away from home, seeking an escape from his difficult life and finding solace in the music scene. Living off the streets, he soon befriended a 20-year-old street musician by the name of Alden and gained his own dreams of being a musician.

However, his dreams are swiftly crushed as the dead begin to overthrow society and rule the Earth.

Soon reunited with his estranged father, whom he despises, Jack has to get out of his violent shadow and carve his own being into the new world order.
