Rhyx Aelorin was born in the ashes of a fallen kingdom, a man without a past, a shadow whispered of in war camps and dying breaths. Cursed by blood and fate, he has spent his life watching empires crumble and kings fall. But when prophecy and betrayal entwine his fate with a dragon-rider princess destined to rule, he is thrust into the heart of a war he never wished to fight.
As kingdoms rise and fall and the skies darken with fire and wings, Rhyx must choose: remain the shadow he has always been or wield the power he never wanted to save a world on the brink of ruin. But the dragons are bound by an ancient curse, and the throne he seeks to restore may demand more than just his life-it may claim his very soul.

But through all this fighting and all this darkness and light; through being the ray of hope for everyone else, Allora finds a ray of hope for herself. A ray of hope that takes form in her Elvish companion, Legolas. Facing darkness from the likes of which she's never seen and feelings from the likes of which she's never felt, it's safe to say that this battle is going to be harder than any that Allora has ever fought before in her long life.
