After years of peace, a new threat emerges-one that seeks to unravel the Morphing Grid itself. When veteran Ranger Billy Cranston detects a mysterious signal hinting at Zordon's survival, he reunites with his old teammates Zack, Jason, Rocky, and Minh to investigate. At the same time, a young athlete named Khalil is thrown into the chaos when he is attacked by reawakened Putties and discovers he has a rare, natural connection to the Grid.

As Jason and Rocky step away from active duty, the Red Ranger mantle is passed to Khalil, who must learn what it truly means to be a leader.
