When a fake rumours are spread that Ash Ketchum injecting drug in to his Pokemon for stronger then his friend includes all (except Gary , Leon and Scott) betrayed him by calling him cheater .So for that Ash handovers all of his trophies including Alola Champion and World Monarch . After 6 years Ash is back to show the World that he is not a cheater . In this 6 years although world betrayed him but he saves the world many times and then disappears . But after 4 years of betrayal the The court judgement that Ash Ketchum was truly not guilty and this judgement is secret only champions are knew this but when Ash Ketchum is disappears all thinks He is dead So for his honour all the champions decided that a world wide Tournament will be held and The Tournament name is Pokemon Master and All champions says to the world that this will dedicated to a Hero and The hero name will be announced in the Presentation of the tournament
And For your kind information After 3 years of betrayal Ash was completed in WCS but in other name and From that He is now World Monarch and The champion of all the region and also known as "Phantom" .....
I know that , this description is very confusing but believe me after when the story takes place you all can understand the whole story plot .
